Reverse

On the reverse side of the 2023 1/10 oz British Britannia Coin, Britannia is shown wearing her Corinthian helmet, holding the Union Jack shield in one hand and a trident in the other. Inscriptions read BRITANNIA, 1/10 OZ, 2023, and 999.9 FINE GOLD.

History

In 2021, the Royal Mint introduced new security features to the British Britannia Series, including micro-text inscriptions, tincture lines, latent security features, and surface animations. These coins have been issued annually since the gold coins debuted in 1987.
